After some issues with my knee, I came to worry about what will be of me 5 years down the road. Having said that, I am a little more health conscious, I won't say very, and definitely no where near average level, but just a little more then usual. Its a start.

I know that healthy eating is the most important part of healthy living, and its definitely the most essential part when you want to slim down or simply just to be healthier. Like I said before, I am little more conscious, but I still can't sacrifice all my food, maybe just 10-20% of the food I love and change up my food choices to healthier option by another 10-20%.

But what I'm including now is extra exercise! Basketball recently has become too on-&-off thing, primarily due to the weather and headcount. So what I did was add in more exercise and some light weight/Tabata exercise at home (occasionally).

Let's hope that I can shed a few extra kilo and gain some extra friends

Everyone is crazy on getting the best bargain for the iPhone 4S, which will be the case for at least a few more weeks.

My simple plan on getting the best, or rather cheapest iPhone 4S in the long run, the plan is to just simply buy an iPhone 4S w/o contract. Trust me, in the long run, or just few months down the road, you are actually saving more then signing a plan with 12/24 months contract. Another thing with contracts is that you gotta pay an early termination fees or also known as premature fees. So there you have it.

Busted!!

If by reading the title led you to think something such as a disclosed scandal and the likes, well, congratulation, you are just one of the usual tabloid reader.

Anyway, the busted that I meant is something about me, and no, its not a scandal. Well, I wish it was, but my life is rather boring, other then the new 42' tv I just bought to replace my 19' monitor.

Ok ok, enough with all the small talks, what really is busted is my knee, well, at least I think it is. If I climb a flight of stairs too fast, I can feel the pain in my right knee.

So I don't even need to tell you what happens when I go for basketball!! The damned part about this is that I can't do anything about it, usually with a sprained ankle, I can massage it when the pain hits, and I know it will go away eventually. Most likely its because I injured my ankle, but for my knee, I don't even know what or how the pain is caused.

When my knee hurts, I tried massaging it, I can almost pinpoint the area where it hurts, but upon massaging/pressing, I don't feel any pain, well, apart from the one that I'm inflicting on myself.

Hopefully it will go away soon!!

Moving from bricks and mortar to ONLINE

Well, for the past unknown years, I've been buying shirts and all via testing, but in recent years, online purchasing has been taking over for most of my buying behaviour, two sites that I frequent for purchases are

Lowyat.net has been around for a very long time and it primarily gave me quite a few good catches, most of the 'TRADERS' there are very good and professional, well, there will always be bad seed in and out, but that is something you just have be count on your luck if you don't research properly.

GROUPON/GROUPSMORE on the other hand has only been around not too long ago, well, in Malaysia at least. There are other group-deal websites such as MILKADEAL etc, but for some reason, I chose GROUPON, simply because they give me a more professional feel. And most of my purchases turn out good, but as per usual, not all participants are great. Among the few bitter memories, lets share the four that had more impact on me:

1) A spaghetti deal in Puchong at VINTAGE WINE BAR AND RESTAURANT, which did not serve the Mexican Spaghetti that we wanted. They are also so stuck up when we tried booking a table in less then the min advance booking days, it needs 3 days, but we call just 2 days before, we weren't allowed and was turned off quite rudely, fine its my mistake, I was just asking, and I did mentioned it the moment you picked the phone. Turns out when we finally got our proper bookings, they were practically empty, and yet they don't let us book previously....

2) A grooming class in EMAGE GROOMING BOUTIQUE, which turns out taught me practically nothing! I felt like I was there for an advertising session, something like, we have this service, it will cost you RMxxxx, you can sign-up for that. This is one of our success story, he took our ultimate package, it cost you RMxxxx, you can sign-up for that. What I did received until now are the spam sms!! So to sum it up, I paid RM60 for a 3hour RM299 package of self-promoting stuff.

3) A photoshoot in BADDOGZ STUDIO, this made us even more pissed off! We were planing to do it before my sis's wedding so we can use the photo during her wedding night, but no, before the deal was closed, tried calling and just wanted to know if we can book during certain period of time, called for a dozen of times, no answer, fine, we gambled, bought and tried calling again, why it don't surprise me at all, they are not picking again!!!! In the end, tried sms, after a few sms was sent, and few hours in between, then only was there a reply!! In that case, BADDOGZ STUDIO, please clearly state SMS ONLY! NO CALL!! Anyways, my sis's wedding was in Oct, and we tried calling and calling, just to be the earlier ones so we can get a nice time, turns out, weekends were fully booked till December or something!! WTF!! If only you picked our phones earlier!! And for some reason, I am wondering are those booking even groupsmore users or just their own personal ones?!

4) A flower deal from D'BLUM FLORIST, made me felt like it was a good catch after sometime, but turns out, I received an email stating that there were problems and GROUPON had no choice but to cancel it, and where is my refund?? Anyways, apart from the anger from me, I somehow appreciate it also that GROUPON took the effort of informing us and kicking the florist out due to poor service, that bad exp won't be anywhere worse then sending a flower and having trouble in the middle right.

Enough with the negative, now lets go to some good stuffs. I've got a few memorable, but telling them would be like repeating my story, so I chose only 3.

1) A haircare deal in YUN NAM, the best deal ever I had in GROUPON, it was priced at RM10, and I used my RM5 token (for refferal), so I got an expensive hair care for only RM5!!

2) A birthday cake deal in Q JELLY BAKERY, unlike the VINTAGE WINE BAR in Puchong, they was very willing to help me by getting ready my cake earlier, of course they are not doing that for every single walk-in, they knew I was from GROUPON, and they checked their queue, to see if they are able to get it done earlier. I was really proud of becoming a GROUPON USER! In the end, due to their friendliness and professionalism (patiently getting catering to my wants and budget), I decided to upgrade and pay on the spot for the extra.

3) A massage deal in VILLA MANJA, they were so good, that I felt my bones making sound, and I love that. I always like to press my knuckles and make those sounds, and trust me, my Thailand friend, did that to my back, I was in heaven for 10seconds after!! Though they are not those bones type, I think only Thai has that, not so sure, but nevertheless, having the lava stone was a very good experience. And the owner, well, she says she is only like the manager there, was really friendly and knowledgeable, taught us a few stuffs and made us return there a few more times after that.

Enough with the fast reviews, lets talk about some of the things that you must know before purchasing. The above purchases are basically F&B as well as Services. So there is pretty much nothing you can do but check on reviews etc. But if you were to buy clothing stuffs, you must have the following to assist you so to not make the wrong purchase.

Lunar Calendar

Well, in case you don't know, I have other blogs that I manage. But the best and most interesting to read should be this blog. Well, I will be linking to the other blog now, so if you are interested, go and have a read as it has a little bit to do here and I don't really feel like copy pasting. So the link to my LAW BLOG is Driving under the influence of SMARTPHONES. Well, if you have read my previous post, MALAYSIAN ROAD ACCIDENT, LOL, I just make it sound worse. Haha. Anyways, if you've read it, you probably noticed that there might be a few extra accidents cases happening this month compare to the usual.

I blame it primarily on the Lunar calendar, in case if you don't know this, the lunar calendar is not in its 8th month now, it is still in the 7th month, or more commonly recognized as the HUNGRY GHOST MONTH. During this particular month, people who have the slightest superstitious beliefs will try their best to avoid going out at night and practice whatever things they can in order to not enroll for a free ride on the ambulance, or the ultimate prize, a one-way-trip via earth using a coffin or urn. Well, jokes aside, I do not deny the existence of these paranormal stuffs though I have never experienced it first-hand before, NOT THAT I WISH TO!! So seeing a little spike in the death/injury rate in hospital shouldn't be surprising this month.

Basically in this blog post, I would like to put emphasis on two particular thing.

1) People who are only superstitious during this particular month.
2) People who are more careful on the road this month (driving slower)

For the people in category (1) are basically dumb. Well, if you believe in the existence of the paranormal, and you are trying your best not to get the free prize, do you really think that they are only here during this particular month? Well, chances are, they are everywhere, almost every-time. I know some might be arguing that this particular month is worse etc, but bear this in mind, if you are unlucky, if it is your time, there is practically nothing you could do. I am a firm believer in luck, but not to the extent where I am luck dependent or blame everything on luck. For example, when I play basketball, when I score a critical point, I will give credit to my luck, because sometimes I myself am surprised that I made it. If someone else made that, and I lost, I won't blame it on luck, deep down in my heart I just know that they played better this time, and its my own fault of not performing up to their level. This in turns motivates me to push myself harder and in turn creates opportunity and hence increase my luck (most of the time, we create our luck). Having said that, don't do stupid things and you should be safe, else all I could blame is on your luck.

Just another study I would like to share, can't remember where I've read it before, but it goes along something like this: The victim pose. How often do you watch a movie and a person is walking pass a group of people, gave off an aura saying that PLEASE PLEASE DON'T COME AFTER ME!! This person will increase his walking speed, act a little more fishy, avoid eye contact while trying to take a peek at the group of people, trying to move away from them (was walking on right side of the walkway, now slowly drifting to the left side). Don't you think this person is basically screaming COME TO ME, I AM WEAK, I WON'T HARM YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, JUST DON'T KILL ME PLEASE!

(Well, the above are in my own words, but basically the study I've read is has the content more or less like that)

Ok, please bear in mind that I am not asking you to stare at the group, just walk confidently as you were, giving respectful eye contact is a good thing if you know how, else just walk like you normally would, increasing/decreasing your pace is a bad idea now.

Saw a car rammed into a tree near a dangerous corner near my office. Usually motorist are the victims, and this is among the rare times where a driver is the victim, don't know about the details.

Pineapple tart?

Well, today Ivy brought some pineapple tarts to office that she bought from her business trip last week. This particular tart taste especially good and the dough is soft, just the way I like it. We used to eat those sunflower version of pineapple tart, but recent years, I fell in love with the cylindrical shape type, primarily due to the softness of the dough as a bonus, the freshness/juiciness of the pineapple toppings. Sunflower type is tasty and all, but ultimately, the dough is a little too tough and the pineapple toppings tend to be a little dried up, well, that is obvious since it is cooked that way. Anyway, I am having a huge headache, most likely is due to the lack of sleep yesterday.

Anyways, this new version of pineapple tart that I've tasted has a unique shape and size. It looks like a small pot made of soft dough filled with pineapple toppings. It is about the size of a 20cent coin, maybe a little smaller. Fragrance wise, the sunflower type is much more fragrant but taste wise, I feel that this small type is a lot nicer. One conclusion that I can come up with is the diminishing factor. On a cold night, having a cup of hot chocolate feels like heaven, but the second cup don't taste as heavenly as the first, and the third is lesser then the second, so on and so forth. So because we can have more bite in the larger pineapple tarts, we eventually get tired of it faster, it does taste nice, but we won't linger in heaven for very long. So I guess you can know what I am about to say for the smaller version. Well, thats it, headache getting worse. ending with a picture

When we were having my farewell (leaving my first official job) lunch at a Thai Restaurant in Sunway Mentari, opposite of Sunway Pyramid, we caught a glimpse of this HONDA ACCORD with its trunk opened. Well, its not just opened a little, its opened to the max. A picture is worth a million words, so let me just show it to you instead of babbling away.

Just did a small simple health screening, done by PRINCE COURT.

Well, my weight is now official, its 97.3kg, mix it with my 179cm height, we get a 30.4 BMI reading which in simpler terms means I am still fat! Well, my optimum weight should be about 70++kg, but I am happy now if my current goal of 85 by end of this year is met. Reducing intake, increasing exercise (basketball three times a week, 1 hour minimum), mixing in 15-30 min of sit up and dumb-bell three times a week. Will gradually increase and decrease as time goes by.

If I could lose about 2-4kg/month. By end of December I should lose 10-20kg. But for the pass 3 months, reducing intake and increasing exercise only dropped 1-2kg only, and it hovers around 97-99kg ever since.

Will consider going on a Metabolism boosting diet or herbal pills if things still maintains for another month. Would like to lose some weight before sis's wedding. Want to look better for her. ;-)

Oh yeah, my BP was 16x, during the first take, and about 1hour later, re-test, it dropped to 140/81, PR-73. God, I have no idea what all that means, but they only tell me its within range and its alright. My Glucose level is consider average at 6.0mmol/L (Fasting: 3.5 - 6.4 ; Random: 3.5 - 8.9) but the same can't be said for my cholesterol 5.9mmol/L (should be <5.2).

Anyways, didn't sleep well the night before resulting in about 4 hour sleep or so. And had a heavy breakfast with egg (bulls-eye), skipped my lunch the day before and ate Maggi Goreng with another bulls-eye. Well, I don't know whether or not it affect the readings or not, oh well, not like I understand it anyway.

Left hanging

The feeling of pride is something everyone cherishes and values a lot. We also sometime make ourselves humble in order to feed other's pride because they do the same for us.

But too many time there are people who like to send you up high, not because they love you, not because of who you are or what you have contributed, they just lead you to the highest peak, let you settle in while they humbly back down to the base, as if lowering themselves to you, the next thing you know, a noose drops in-front of your head. You can't back away, because it’s the point of no return, so forward you go, knowingly walking into a trap and can't do much about it but pray for the best.

The best thing to happen is everything will work out for the best, if its success, of course we would like to savor every last bit of it, enjoying the moment and living it to the fullest, but if it’s for the worst, many of us would wish that we never even followed them to the top in the first place. But damage was done, trap entered, the only thing I could ever wish for is for it to end quickly and quietly.

But many times, the best moment for those who like to set the traps is the time we suffer. The agonizing moment of knowing we have failed, our prides crushed, nothing we can do about it. They tend to savor it as slowly as possible, heck, I did mentioned if it’s my success, I will enjoy every bit of it, I guess these bastards are not much different from me too, well, everyone. To end the agony fast is what’s left in my mind, but since it’s a trap, we are definitely being treated like a god during the start initial process. While we are enjoying ourselves, that is when the noose caught on, tightens like the first real hug of couples, where it could almost or very well suffocate you. And then it springs up, trap activated, and we are left hanging……

10 years behind MASK

Before I continue with this post, I would like to share a little knowledge from my Law class which I learnt during a long time ago, well not that long, maybe about 1year +-. Anyways, you always see the penalty for any offence to either or, or both. For example, Fine of no more then MYR50,000 or Jail for no longer then 10 years, or both. I believe all of you would understand at least this part which is the offender will either be penalize with MYR50,000 fine or go behind bar for a max of 10 years. But how many of you know about both? Not too long before the lecture, I always thought both means the offender will have to pay MYR50,000 and go to jail for 10 years, but oh, was I so wrong. Because you will either get Max penalty of A or B never both. Lets stir up that strong brain of yours.

Imagine that you are the judge, and you have three cups of equal size, two of them are empty and have a Jail & Fine sticker on it, the third cup has a offender sticker on it and its filled up full. If you pour all the water into the Jail cup, it means the offender will have to go behind bar for the maximum jail term of his crime. Vice versa, if you fill the Fine cup, he will have to pay the maximum amount of fine. Having said that, I believe you could pretty much tell that the offender can't have max of both because one cup of water can't fill two same cups. So back to the both, if the you, the judge deems it necessary for the offender to face the maximum of both, you will have to give 50% of Jail and 50% of fine. Taking my previous example: The offender can either be penalize with a MYR50,000 fine, a 10 years Jail term, or a MYR25,000 fine + 5 years Jail term.

I know I am not a good teacher, but hey, I am trying my best.

Ok, now lets start with the main topic, in case if you are wondering about the title, No, its not a typo. I will try and save you by not giving you the whole grandfather story after reading the above post (I somehow doubt anyone reading anyway), so here is the summary.

5 year-old boy from China, fell into a pile of burning straw at his hometown in Fenyang. He is forced to wear a full surgical mask to prevent infection because he lost most of his skin around his head and hands, and this might be his face until he is 14-19 years-old depending on his trachea as doctors can't perform the skin-graft surgery until it is large enough.

Poor boy can only play with his canine, ultraman and his 3 year-old brother. He could play with other kids, but only, and only if the mother bribes them with snacks.

Bersih Kotor Kaya Jam

Well, am pretty sure most of you guys knows what going on with the Bersih gig. And only a tiny portion of you people don't know shit about it, or just heard the word Bersih recently. Well, for that tiny portion of you, fret not, as me here, will tell you something about me and Bersih. Just like you all, I don't know shit of what its about. All I know is anyone with yellow is a suspect and that made me think twice of wearing my yellow T out that day. And the worse part is I also have a yellow umbrella in my car!!!

Well all that aside, in my mind, BERSIH is not related to RIOT, well, not yet at least. But it BERSIH does relate to JAM!! Hate the jam last week, but lucky enough was away during the whole commotion on work related stuff, thank you boss!!

How to park when no place for you

Well, ever drove around the parking lot cursing every-car infront of you which miraculously able to get a parking but not you. How you stalk those people carrying their bags and keys looking for a car.

Well, I have seen some extreme where an old couple offer a ride to a young lady, well, the main thing is to get her parking, I have thought of doing this a lot of time, but never been able to do it cause afraid that people might freak out. So as the norm, I stalk them..lol

2012 marks the end for ..........

Some are strong believers of the 2012 doomsday, and they are bragging on the fact especially with the recent heatwave in Malaysia and natural disasters around the world.

But I am not here to tell you who is wrong and who is right, what I would like to share is basically a FACT!!

As the title suggest, 2012 is indeed the end, so don't get too comfortable, but don't be panic too, because something new can only come with the ending of something old or so to speak. Remember in 2007, where it mark the end of our RM50 note, well it also marked the beginning of our new RM50 notes seen everywhere nowadays. But why only the RM50 was changed back then? This is to celebrate the Malaysia's 50th Independence Day!

Seeing the number 50, somehow reminds me of Hawaii-5-O, but what actually hit me is this year's 5th May where Fast 5 was release.

Ok, back to our topic, I believe some of you might have known the fact, and most of you have already notice that through all these years, we have changed our banknote numerous times. The thing is, it is a usual practice that happens every 12 years. And 12 years ago I was in Primary 6 so I was mainly playing with coins and not banknote yet, but I do remember the brown RM20 banknote though, until now I still think its beautiful!!

Dog dragged from home and brutally shot dead in-front of owner's wife and son while on the way to school!

This news hit me with a little extra kick primarily because of a Black stray came to our house not too long ago. It is very obedient, well, he plays with my dad etc. Though the only thing about him is that he will chew on our shoes now (after he got used to us), and on occasion he will bring some carcass home (perhaps he was a stray for too long).

Another thing that made the news a little bit personal for me is that sometimes when I take the motorcycle to go for basketball, he will run along side of me until the busy junction before heading off elsewhere, just like how the black dog trailed its owner to school!

An extract of the news:

A landscape supervisor is upset and disappointed with the Central Johor Baru Municipal Council workers they shot his dog in the street and when the dog ran back into his house compound, the workers entered the compound, looped the injured animal and dragged it onto the road.
The MBJBT workers then shot the dog a second time and killed it.
Taman Johor Jaya resident Tan Sek Khang, 51, said when the MBJBT workers shot the dog a second time, they did it in front of his protesting wife and son.

The cruelty displayed to animals, I do understand that they are doing their jobs, but if no one is defending the poor thing, fine, but how can they shoot it infront of the kid when they are pleading that its theirs, and the fact that they dragged the already wounded dog from the owner's house is definitely unforgivable, shooting it dead infront of the family is just plain satanic!!

Scream at your partner!!!

Well, as the title says, scream at your partner, but before you proceed to do that, just take a step back, and don't. Because the partner that I am mentioning is a different partner, its a partner that have been accompanying you more than any others these days. Well if you have some hard time figuring it out, it is your trusty cellphone! You used it to text your loved ones, call them take pictures of them, FB/twit them, IM them and the list goes on. It is by your side while you are asleep, and it wakes you up during the designated time. Some people even molest them unknowingly, notice how we always heard the fact that someone is able to snooze his/her phone for few hundreds of time before actually being really awake.

Ok, well, yelling at your current phone might do you no good, but what I am trying to say is that there might be a technology that is coming soon, which for some reason I highly doubt it, which is the ability to change sound energy into electrical energy. More people would be yelling into their phone if this were true, and the best thing is, loudspeaker, turn it on during a conference or just the music, and instant charge. Cool ain't it? But like all things 'coming soon', lets just hope that the 'soon' comes within 10 years time if not 100.

Recently stumbled upon several blogs, among them are bolehland.net, well, 2 guys with some rather good sense of humour, though I hate their shit post, literally, the shit!

and another one is sisters, I believe it was started due to the mother, the little girls grandmother, girls are always sick, so is the grandmother, so the best way to update and show their growth is by updating online, really like the story and also the creativeness!

Aside from the above two blog, I also enjoy reading Miao, a Kuching cat in Malacca.

Well, all three blogs above to me is of the very best, I especially enjoy reading comical type of blog, especially by Miao, I love them due to the fact that they are very interesting, full of pictures, and most if not all of their post is not about ads.

Worn out!

Was having my weekly dose of good basketball game. I enjoy playing here as it is quite competitive and the people are good here. But most of all, its an indoor court.

Well, the day started with me with my worn out shoes, well, the above ain't mine, but you get the picture. I think next week onwards it will be me and a new pair. Need sometime to break into the shoes fast.

The first thing I notice when arriving at the court is that it was hot! We already opened some of the windows, well, that is what we normally do, but this time we felt its hotter then usual. Everyone was getting tired faster then usual, then half-way through the game, I finally know why, the air-cond was off, somehow someone went and switched it on, but after a few more games, it was switched back off.

Every-time after the game, I have to climb to the fourth floor, back home, no lift... But yesterday, when going up, I can feel my knees shaking and I can't extend them fully, god it hurts. Then my back hurt so damn much too. Especially near the waist there, above my butt! But all in, it is a very good game.

Chinese vs Western med

remarks: C = Chinese medication, W = Western medication

This post was inspired by one of my cousin, well, her husband was supposed to go for a dialysis but ended up not going. I am not so sure about the whole deal as I just learnt it not too long ago via facebook, through reading some of their comments.

Well, just to state the obvious, I am not pro-W nor am I pro-C. I have a neutral and logical standpoint on medication.

It is true that we always get the rumours that C is always better then W. Their reasoning is pretty simple, it is similar to the saying 'good thing no cheap, cheap thing no good', I am not referring to the prices between C and W, instead its the effect, like how they say eating W will make you drowsy because of bla bla bla, and W only cures the symptoms and not the cause.
C - aims at the cause, gives less side-effect, takes longer to cure, better in the long-run.
W - aims at the symptom, give more side-effect, takes less time to show result, not so good in the long-run.

All these are basically experiences passed from one to another, I do not doubt that it is true as sometimes i do feel that way too. But bear in mind that there are no certified studies that support nor condemn it, so all these things we should take it with a pinch of salt.

In my personal thought, C is the best, W is also the best, they are the best in their respective way.
C - Good if you have the time, patients and health.
W - Good if you already diagnosed with something (which is bad)

So by having a good C, chances of needing W will be reduced. In a simple way:
C - Turns a healthy person healthier.
W - Turns a sick person healthy or just to get rid of that sickness.

My take in medication is that C is like supplements, take it regularly and make yourself stronger, but when we are sick, we need to get with it fast, so W is good here. And if I am right, I read an article about fusion medication a few years back, where they take the best of both and implement it. This just proves that none are perfect, and both has it flaws. Sometimes, we should disregard the superstitious and look into the facts, real hard proven facts, not something random facts from others, well, it may be true, you heard about that 2 success stories, but did you heard of the 200 unsuccessful ones?

Well, for one, you know how all those heroes are always dudes with huge man-boobs, bla bla bla.. Well, if I was with them, of course I feel safe, power-less, but safe.

Now imagine this, along with babes!

Well, of course I won't be able to escape with just brute force, even though I wish I am Superman, but being with these lovely ladies sparks me to be stronger, in both mind and body. So why waste time by doing things forcefully?

Obviously I will be super powerful! Well, to the extent of a normal human of course.

Why is it that at places such as malfunctioning traffic light, road repair/construction etc, you can't seem to find the traffic police?

But when you pass that place, they seem to be standing at the usual highway, that particular long stretch of road, directing the cars which are all travelling the same direction.

Yeah, that is our 1Malaysia, Malaysia Boleh. Gotta say, smart! Directing a congested straight road is definitely better then directing a place where it would help.

Some people embrace Valentines day for its kitschy, overpriced, blatant commercialism while some people just prefer to treat it like any other day on the calendar. A day off would be the best now.

How often do we wish that we can take a day off, but when we actually do take a day off, how many of us spends that day sitting at home doing nothing but watching movie/anime/series or simply going online/gaming. Don't you think its a waste of time? I mean won't it be better to spend it somewhere better? Catching up with a friend, going for some outdoor activities. I would prefer to the later, but the problem with Malaysia is that do any outdoor thing between 10am to 4pm will eventually get you dehydrated with a touch of sunburn.

Ohh, how I wish that our weather are not so hot, where we can go to the beach (note, I am not a beach guy, I believe the cause is I am embarrassed of my body),go hiking/cycling around, etc.

Right now, this moment, I feel like going somewhere and hike, hike to the peak and find a waterfall, then its fun time there! All the hard-work to get up and find that waterfall, it will be all worthwhile when you throw everything down (except your clothes of course) and step towards the waterfall, sitting directly below with all those water gushing onto your head and back, listening to nothing but the roar of the water, it can never be better. Somehow, I prefer waterfall than the beach, primarily due to this!

But if our beaches are clean, and filled with bikini-clad sexy babes, i don't really mind dropping by the beach once in awhile, nevertheless, after sweating from the hike, being rewarded by the waterfall is awesome, now only if I know where to go!

Apparently this year's CNY was much more enjoyable compared to last year, for me at least. The usual card games has increased, and most notably the joy has increased. On my last night in Malacca, I accidentally wore a similar color attire as the rest, namely the triplet three! As you can see below, 3colors with 3 person each. I accidentally wore pink.

Well, that aside, I especially love this particular photo!

And another thing was that I got to finally sit in a Porsche Cayenne! Thanks kor Kelly, but wanna go again!

Inspira came from Lancer is not anything new.

Nor is the fact that you see a Proton Wira bearing the Mitsubishi badge. I always find it very discomforting when I see those Wira being modded and then they simply removed the Proton emblem and replaces it with Mitsubishi.

Now, imagine these two scenarios

A) Taking a piece of shit and covering it in Gold

B) Taking a gold brick and covering it with Shit

I would usually say (A) goes to those people who put on those Mitsu badge over their proton.

But I have always thought why no one did the other way around, especially when the Inspira was launched, I thought will there be any Lancer or Evo X owner who put on a proton badge over their Mitsu. Now that will be (B).

Sadly, or perhaps lucky, I never found anyone doing that. But the same cant be said for the Toyota Camry. Picture as belows.

Will you do that to your car? Imagine Ferrari puts on the Perodua badge and fits the KANCIL word at the rear.

Air Asia Crashed?

The above line has been used vigorously, and just by hearing it, you will know that it is Air Asia.

That aside, I believe many has been boarding Air Asia recently especially for the year end trip, christmas, balik kampung, (my cousin's wedding), and soon to come CNY. This may come to a shocking news to many especially to those who frequently travel, the images of a crashed Air Asia. Rumours has it that it happen in Kuching, so now Elmo might have more of a shock, especially since she just came back from Kuching not too long ago, and going again end of this month.

So enough talk and type, below is the one and only picture I have, lazy to search, lazy to verify whether this is a true thing or just photochopped.

A funny thing which I did manage to read was that instead of Air Asia's NOW EVERYONE CAN FLY, some netizens has joke on it and said 'NOW EVERYONE CAN CRASH'

Just to note, this just might be another accident like the recent bus crashes, but let just hope this is the last accident for the year 2011! And just so you know, don't blame Air Asia, cause Tony is not the one piloting you know. LOL

Look at that pineapple, I don't really like to eat pineapple, other than as a supplement to other food, but this one here got me started (for awhile that is)

Oh, notice the number on the right, to those who can't read chinese, the words means Malacca, and that particular reflects my uncle.Ah Nam Q, he source his pau here, and sells it along with his delicious fish ball soup and some yong tau fu, at night, he sells ikan bakar with two options, nyonya or sambal sauce.

F&B: [COMPLAIN] Kenny

Recently been dining out a lot. And this also happened recently which is the service is getting lousier as the days go by, well, this excludes those really nice dining places like tony and etc. But I mean Pizza Hut and Kenny, they also suppose to have great floor staff. You can check the PIZZA rant if you want, but this is about KENNY.

I mean intial service was good, though this time we weren't given a choice of seat, we wanted 'that' clean side table, instead we were brought to the middle table, well, no complaints. The real issue arise when I noticed the table opposite of us receive their Muffin after they almost finish their plates, and the Muffin only arrive after the soup. Well, I just thought maybe they requested for the muffin to come in like that. But on our side, imagine what we were served first, NOT MUFFIN, NOT DRINKS, its the main course that came first. Then we asked where are our drinks and muffin, hence we had to wait, though not long, but enough for the not hot meal to turn even cooler. Now I was thinking is there much difference from those Ayamas or those chicken sold at Jusco.

Well, other things were all below average, but at least they were a lot better than PIZZA HUT!

I know I have been complaining a lot, but at least don't you think we deserve a better service when we are paying that much, heck, I even get my drinks first when I eat at hawker center, sometimes even if I opt for the economy rice, the drinks will be there before me getting to the table.

F&B: [COMPLAIN] Pizza Hut

Well, me and Elmo likes to dine in Pizza Hut, my meal always vary from salad to pizza to pasta. But faithful Elmo only orders Pizza, occasionally pasta.We dine at Pizza Hut at least once a fortnight, but its more to like once or twice in a week. So the nearest and most convenient outlet is the one in Giant Kinrara, which is not too far from BUKIT JALIL POLICE STATION, if you know where the Mercedes Benz in Kinrara, or the Indian Temple, its around that area, you can't miss this Giant, its a 'giant'.

Well, the issue is that we have been eating here for like two months, meaning our visits are totaling up to 10 visits, until we can even recognize the floor staff.

Well, there shouldn't be much of a problem since Pizza Hut is a chain and the service should be more or less the same as other outlets, and the services we receive should be the same. Having a regular patron of PIZZA HUT since we were in MMU, we went to so many outlets before, nearly every Pizza Hut outlet in Malacca, the one in Port Dickson, Klang Valley etc. We came to understanding that not all outlet has the same quality of food, example is that Pizza Hut in Aeon (Jusco) Equine Park has the worst Pasta, but the one outlet in Malacca (now closed) serves the best pasta! The taste is just perfect and we like the meatball, there are meatball!!! But the one in Equine Park don't serve with meatballs, even after we made a complain to the floor staff. Well although they serve terrible pasta, at least their service is good and the salad bar is always filled.

Now the main purpose of this PIZZA HUT post is to rant about the outlet in Giant Kinrara. I have yet to see more than 4 floor staff on the night shift (we always dine there for dinner), its usually the Indian lady (who seems qualified to be Manager), the malay guy, and two Bangla (where one always goes missing and the other one handles problems, when order screw up, they send the Bangla to talk, not cause he is tough, but mainly for the communication barrier.). They are virtually understaffed, I've never experienced a clean table, they never have enough time to clean up, although the only good part is that we only need to sit for about 2-5 minutes before we are given the menu and wait another few minutes when we signal them for order. We grew accustomed to it already.

But yesterday, was the limit, I mean this is not the first time it happened, I got my breadsticks last, after almost finishing up my PIZZA!! And you guess what happened to the soup, Elmo finished hers, and mine became cold, we like to dip the breadsticks into the hot soup! We even had to hunt for sauces in the outlet, and some of the patrons are racing with each other to get to that bottle of Tabasco! Our pizza was also charred, not just a little, I can even taste it, even the onion and chicken was kind of black already. And no, its not the sauce, its burnt and I can be sure of it, as I always did that while cooking myself. I found a strand of hair on my slice of Pizza, its way too long to be my hair, and its way too short to be Elmo's. The table around us are all empty, not because there are no customers, but its due to the lack of clean table, I can still see the leftover pasta and the table next to us. There were also complain from the other patrons, and how they (Pizza Hut's floor staff) settle it, send the Bangla and give him a menu, the one responsible will be charged with cleaning the table while being out of view. All I remember was the war was won by the patron and I saw the Bangla took back one of their pizza.

I need to justify, sometimes its not just the floor staff at fault, sometimes the kitchen staff is at responsibility, we even faced getting wrong pizza (kitchen mistake, not wrong table mistake), our pizza somehow ended up missing and had to wait more than 40 minutes. I mean if floor staff key in the order, the kitchen staff should just follow it, and they shouldn't miss a thing, like our late breadsticks for example.

I guess I have written too much text, so lets just let bygone be bygones.

This is a little long one, so I will break it up into two or three parts.

I will start off with what caught me in the menu, sorry for the poor quality of photo, its the best I can do with my W810i. Unless someone decides to sponsor me a new one or I get a better paying job.

The thing that caught my eyes was a COMIC STRIP! Really enjoyed it, and it filled in the waiting time. Anyways, while waiting for the pizza, I decided to snap the Italian Cone Pizza's comic, while doing that, I was keeping a lookout just in case the staff comes and forbid the pictures. Hehe, lucky me, they didn't.

Well, hope you were able to read it. I had a little enjoyment of reading this comic strip in the Italian Cone Pizza's menu. And through that, I felt like I have gained insight on Pizza, I know its history, the HISTORY OF ITALIAN PIZZA! Now I can brag that I know everything about pizza, of maybe at least the Margherita Story in the menu only. hehe.

I haven't been posting on food for quite sometime, and I have too many pictures of food taken recently. I think in the next few post, it will be mostly about foods, this is all thanks to the push by Submeryn's Chili's post.

Recently, me and Elmo have been eating good food, by good food I mean food which we don't normally indulge because of the price. lol... Its being like an every weekend thing.

When comparing with Burger King, Carl's Junior, against TGI, Chili's, its hands down the second team wins. But recently, I tried Tony, and they offer the option of done~ness for your patty, its either medium rare or medium done, guess what I chose? Of course medium rare.

Enough of text and now for the pics

Movie Review: Takers part 2

Now that i have a press kit from Nuffnang, its way easier for me to do a review. Hehe

TAKERS as the title of the movie says it, portrays a group of criminals executing a bank heist. One thing they are sure of is that they are very well organized, does their research really well, and most importantly, they are clean in execution and lies low after each heist. But the real movie here is when they attempt to make a robbery on the bank trucks in less than a week. Though they had everything worked out nicely, lets just say that the truck did not fell into the trap. With a little fast and furious by Paul Walker, the trucks ended in the pits of hell. More issues happen after that including a dead cop which was having some financial issues.

The only downside for me was that some parts were too predictable, and I don't really like the ending which could have been even better if they put more effort into it like the start. But good movie nonetheless.

Just go watch the movie and if you are like me, a real stingy person, and don't want to waste your time, the running time of the movie is slightly more than 100 minutes, though not long, but the story and actions is good. Definitely beats watching lovey dovey movies, but I did enjoy watching HACHIKO, that aside, I recommend the movie, but just don't get your hopes too high and you will really enjoy it, heck, I think even with high hopes you might be leaving the cinema with a grin!

I know the movie isn't out yet in Malaysia, but lets just say I was in Mid Valley last night watching it!

And this is what I got for going there yesterday.

Alright, if you are like me, most likely the only name that stood out was Paul Walker from Fast and Furious, and Chris Brown. Hehe.

The whole movie revolves around thieves, not your ordinary thieves, these bunch are high profile type, they hit fast and hard, does their research properly and they are brilliant, especially how they escaped on the FEDCAL heist! Well, how did they managed to escaped from a heist in a building which they have disabled the lift, you gotta go watch it.

My conclusion is that this movie is good, real good, though predictable but it is still a good movie to be enjoyed.

The story is nice with a rather similair ending to the first fast and furious. Hehe. Thats all, for more, go read other review that might reveal more, I will just say that, reading anymore and it will spoil the movie for you.

Double parking bad?

How many times has we seen people double parking, I mean if sometime you ter-park out of line a little is ok la, sometimes its cause you didn't notice, sometimes its due to certain reasons, but no forgiveness to those who double park like no ones business, I mean if it is at a place where there are plenty of car parks, and not much people parks there, by all mean, triple park and no one cares, but at certain place where car park is limited, please park properly, or at least leave some space so that a normal sedan car can park!

Double and triple park is bad enough for us, but the worst thing is to do it at the handicapped area, I know that most of the time these car parks are free and most likely no handicapped will park there, but what if you did that and then some poor handicapped fellow is frantically searching for a car park?

Fire Exit??

What is the purpose of fire exit? To let people get out when there is fire? To let fireman in when there is fire?

What ever purpose it serves, it surely isn't for locking people in/out right. To my amazement, there is one particular mall who has their fire exit to do just that, lock people inside from going out and vice versa. I wonder what will happen when there actually is a fire? Do they expect their staff to go open it for the people? Who is in charge of opening it? How many people will open it during the dire times of emergency? How many fire exits must be opened? What will happen if the person in charge is on leave?

Fire exit are meant to be closed at all times and open during emergencies, it should be closed! NOT LOCK!

But the terms are not really clear, as it is for both dine in and take away, the only rule is you can only order with every purchase of one (1) carbonated drink. Movie Review: Piranha

Definitely a good movie, or at least because I was so sick and tired of croc movies. Everytime you see some water creature terrorizing, its either snake or crocs, the later dominates the scene for the past few years.

Apart from the usual sex appeal, I like the gory part very, very much, at least that explain why I laughed when others are covering their eyes or screaming.

Just to take your mind off the previous picture

The thing about these kind of movies is you can actually predict whats going to happen. But at least I like the part where 'they are just babies'.

If anything is for sure, please do not watch this in cinema, they cut so much, I mean its one thing you cut those sexy stuff, but the bloody!! I want to watch that even more! So please blame me for supporting TPB so I can enjoy more women splitting in half and gushing bloods and bones.

Movie Review: Clash of the Titans

I don't get it why lots of my friends (Elmo's friends) gave this movie a really bad review, they say it is very and absolutely lousy, the only thing worth watching is the Graphics. But to me, it is a good movie with good (not great) graphic. Interesting story though seems rather unfair that the hero is too strong for a first time warrior. Other than that, it is pretty nice, and I like the part where they fight the scorpions, and one of the dialogue that I felt amusing is 'its better to be on it than in it'. And nearing the end of the movie, the hunters brought home a scorpion themselves. Haha.

There are a few things in this movie which reminds me of other movie, one most noticeable is the Kraken, unless you don't watch Pirates of the Carribean, I believe most of you remembers those Giant Tentacles and the scene where Captain Sparrow charge head on with it. One thing that you can't deny is the resemblance of the lead female actress of this movie towards Lord of the Rings, it really does feels like I am watching something like it. Another thing is a movie released not too long ago, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, somehow the image of Medusa wearing shades was a little of what I think of what I was about to see. Haha. I think this is only me though, when I see the scorpions, it reminds me of the scorpions from Transformers and The Scorpion King. Hehe. Some others that came into mind waste Universal Soldiers, The Mummy, Prince of Persia etc

This movie is worth a watch, I didn't watch it in 3D though, didn't feel it was great enough to waste money on. But definitely good to watch. Somehow I won't trust the reviews of a certain people any longer.

Recently I have been joining this website called Youth Says. It was suppose to be a good website, but turns out to be a spamming land where everyone is on a quest to collect Contribution Point (CP), but aside from that, it is a good platform to earn a little side income, as in very little, something like Nuffnang.

Currently I am joining two commercial campaign, where every unique clicks will earn me RM0.20, so if I can get 250 unique clicks for each, I have earned RM100. But the catch is, the campaign payee will only pay a fixed amount, so once that amount is reached, they will no longer pay anyone for anymore unique clicks. This time around, couldn't find them anymore, instead I stumbled upon yet another new batch while buying my Nasi Goreng Tom Yam Pedas.

This time there is no full orange anymore, but they have this one spotted orange black white. Cute but weak, lost in the milk fight. So cute!!

Shoe-Peed Fart Up Idol-et follow up

This post is a follow up of my previous rant post on Shoe Peed Fart Up Idol-et.

One more thing I can't understand is why park at other people's parking bay, unless you are sure there is no one parking there, even so, some of the visitor's car park have roofs, and its not that far from my parking bay.

Well, this is the visitor car park!

I know this picture is a little blur, but you can actually see the car which parked at my bay from where I was standing, that my friend, proves that it is not very far away from the visitor's bay

After complaining, I assume the guards gave the owner some grace period, they only came and clamp the vehicle in the morning, which was more than 6 hours later. But that car is still there.

You can see the guards there after the sun is quite high in the sky.

And the result of parking at someone else's parking bay without permission nor a sticky note asking to call you or something like that.

Shoe-Peed Fart Up Idol-et

After getting back home, feeling kind of tired, I found this car parked in my parking bay (Cyberia D-23A-A), its ok if you park there for awhile, but at least when you park at someone else's parking bay, please be alert, especially when you hear people honking! When you hear it, the least you could do is come out, say sorry, and move your car as fast as you can. But NO, the owner of this car, has disappeared, and it is almost midnight now and no one has yet to come and drive the car away.

If you are not going to be able to pay attention when people's honk, or you simply do not plan to care, please park at the designated VISITORS' CAR PARK!! It is not actually very far from my parking bay anyway! I really don't understand why people like to park at someone's parking bay and just go away like it is his/hers. I swear, if I was not so civilised, I would puncture three of his tyre and make sure I empty his engine oil, all I need to do is get a container, large enough to contain about 4litres of liquid, and unbolt the nut which is accessible to anyone if you would just bend down and look under the engine bay of most car.

But being the person I am, I am giving this person a grace period, if he/she don't move it away by the time I finish this post, I would have no choice but to go and get the security and clamp his/her car. And those who hold a the VISITOR PASS, are not even allowed to be in Cyberia after MIDNIGHT!

I took the liberty of getting an insurance if anything were to happen to my car in the coming future if the car below is clamped for parking in my parking area (they can just come and have their sweet revenge at my car since my car would be naked to their attacks), by snapping the following pictures.

As you can see the parking bay next to mine is D-23-B

And so, the end, I am going to ask the security to clamp his car now. Though it will pose a problem to me as I have to WALK to the guard house which is at the front, but at least it will cure my rage for now!

My Date Night

One of my most memorable nights with my girlfriend is at Genting Highland. It was during my birthday, it was a very nice day albeit all the misfortune that we had, but maybe because of these misfortunes, it was even more memorable than the typical happy nights we had.

First of, we went into the theme park, wanted to play all those exciting games, but in the end, we chickened out, but the embarrassing thing was that there was a few little girls who wanted to play but couldn't due to height. So we were like .......

After that we went to catch a movie, though expensive, watching a movie in Genting was new to us, and since it was my birthday, we decided to watch the latest movie, couldn't really remember the title, but all I remembered was it tried to copy the movie 'Blair Witch Project' and FAILED! Halfway through the movie, we heard people complaining, and later on, people started leaving due to headache. We stayed till the end, but what we got was also a headache ending, to make things worse, my contact lens decided to make the back of my eye its new home, adding more headache to me.

On the way back to the hotel, due to a already slippery shoe, my girlfriend slipped down nearly pulling me as well. And we got laughed by the workers who were responsible, they were watering the flowers, and by some unknown reasons, the walkway was all wet.

In the end, when we got back to the hotel room and cut my cake, what hit us was that we had even more things to talk about then the usual happy nights. And until today, though we always complain about that night, but we both know and understand that it was a very memorable and special night for us.

I know I don't usually blog about marketing stuff, but hey, I am a marketing student you know. Stumbled upon something refreshing, but before that, let me tell you a little something.

I'm not sure whether you guys aware or not, but sometime ago, along the stairs of KTM in Mid Valley, they put up an interactive ad, as you walk down the stairs, you can read the conversation between two or more people, that was a briliant idea to me at first, but after a few times passing by, it ommph factor fades quickly.

Then there was a time when there was a boom in the ala 3D style billboard, where they turn the big fat pole into part of the billboard, some billboard even do it like there is really someone above the billboard shocked! I find this most amazing, simple yet effective.

If you guys drive along LDP, nearby the 222, you might have noticed the bright Yellow VW hanging by a thread on top of the building, that is also a success to my sense. I even remembered seeing one which resembles the VW'g gimmick, paint, three different colours of paint spilling out from the top of the roof, and splashing all the way to the car park below, it turns in usual dull & pale looking building into something attractive and catchy even from miles away. The best part is, visitors to the company will be in for a shock, as the paint that I mention, remember I said it spilled from top of the building to the car park below, it covered a total of three dummy car, though they wasted three car parks, but the impression last forever!

Ok, now into the real thing, when FB-ing, I saw another interesting ad style, incorporating lights into the boring static ad type. The brilliant part is it will lead you to read on whether you know it or not. Unless you've seen the ad, I believe you would somehow with intention or accidentally read it, it lights up word by word, and gives a slight pause, and then, well, I think just text is useless ya, so here you go, a video for your viewing.

TSF The Spaghetti Farm

This is a super late post. Recently lazy to post, finally dug my gut out to posting food again.

TSF which stands for The Spaghetti Farm serves well, spaghetti, it is owned by Italian restaurateur Beppe De Vito and we have tasted it and concluded that it is the best spaghetti we ever had yet, even better then the usual pizza hut's and those serving western foods! A little history/background of GATSBY.
It is founded by Mandom Corp. in 1972, it is a Japanese based company and it is famous for its flagship brand, GATSBY, in 2007 they release the all time favourite GATSBY Moving Rubber, even I am using two of it, one is when I just cut my hair and the other one I use it when my hairs start to get a little long. The colours that I am using are Purple and Orange, up to now I have bought one Purple Gatsby and two Orange Gatsby.

Now if you don't know what GATSBY is, here are the pictures and a very old commercial, you can get it at your nearby Watson or any anywhere actually, its easy to get one and its very affordable.

PWTC MATTA Fair 2010 Part1 (I know, recently a lot of part part part)

K, the reason why I post two in a shot is because I won't be around during weekend, hence the double post. In this first part of going to MATTA Fair in PWTC is going to be boring, just some stuff that I picked up when I was super bored, if recycle count by weight, I can cash in quite a lot.

There were five of these and I took it all. Muahahaha. And picked up something as well from this counter, will post it the next time.

How to get to PWTC MATTA Fair 2010

This post will be as a guide to PWTC MATTA Fair 2010, its actually very versatile, but I like the route.

First of all, assume you guys know where is IOI Puchong or Tesco Puchong is, go towards Bandar Kinrara via the route to Giant, if you don't know where, head straight pass IOI Puchong and notice a lot people are making a U-turn, that will lead you to Neway Puchong (Puchong Neway), do not take the U-turn, instead, take the traffic light slightly on the left. You will make a right turn towards Bukit Jalil, just go straight from here on, you will see a Giant on your right, then after that a Mercedes Benz Lot on your left, directly opposite of it is a Caltex (should be on your right), pass that and soon a Police Station will come into view on your left.This is where you will need to start paying attention, when you get to a traffic light, and on your right is a Petronas, you should start to keep left after that traffic light, because the next junction you will be turning left, if you are not sure, just follow Bukit Jalil. After turning left, at the next traffic light, turn right and you can start to find a car park, don't worry, there are a lot of car park available with just a small fee of RM2, I got a free Security while parking at Bukit Jalil Stadium there. Then you can ask for guide on how to WALK to the Bukit Jalil LRT station.

My personal guard, hehe. Actually he asked me to park there one.

From here just head to the Bukit Jalil LRT Station, then get a ticket to PWTC costing RM1.90. Head straight ahead after passing the ticket gateway look for this

Get up there

Then you will see

Listen to the announcements and get down at PWTC, later on, you have to turn left

Walk until the traffic light then turn right, that is PWTC. Cheers, you have made it there easily, so now to enjoy.
