Another dreadful event has approached. My brother survived his bike crash which was supposed to be fatal, with some minor brain damage which he seems to have been able to recover from. But not long after that, he faced yet another complication, his throat.
All these while he had breathing problems, mostly due to his nostril if memory serves me right, this time, due to unknown reason, his throat (one of the pipes which we use to breath) has turned from a ruler shape to an hourglass shape, thus breathing problem arise.
It was not so serious, but things took a bad turn and they had to cut a hole at his throat, allowing him to breath (hourglass thing blocked or something I think). He had a few near death experience after that, but all was lucky enough. One of the time, he was at the brink of death, just minutes away, lucky one of the nurse noticed something amiss, it was past midnight, and my brother cant talk let alone yell, so he was unable to call for help.
He was previously admitted in Neurology when he had his bike crash, now he is in ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) division.
He was released after quite some time. But things took a bad turn few days ago, he coughed till there is blood, I'm not sure of the details, about where the blood is from (throat/mouth), but yesterday (Thursday), there was a number of doctors coming in for consultation, and the Head Surgeon was also there. He will be put on to the operation room later this morning, about 7/8am.
As much as I hate to say, all we can do now is to leave it to the hands of the doctors. Pray hard for him.
