Promo Clip

Came upon this little gig while doing my work, rather creative, not first class, and no where near second class, but hey, my point is, they done a good job, a good mix of at least 2 martial arts there, and whats more, I love the RIM of the basketball board. Old school wey!!

So here, enjoy!

Isn't it cool? Ok la, choreography can be better, but hey, they are not professional (I think).

Still remember my days when learning TAEKWANDO, SILAMBAM, AIKIDO, it was fun, especially AIKIDO, I would recommend those who dislike physical contact learn AIKIDO, its fun and easy to learn, you can be little red riding hood and still take down THE ROCK!! As for guys, I think most of them will prefer TAEKWADO and/or KARATEDO. Its more physical, can really whack people, but bear in mind, 3 Karate Master were gasping for breath when up againts 2 Aikido Master (1of them did nothing actually).

Most Martial Art maximize the force to get the maximum damage, but Aikido specialise in manipulating the forces of the attacker, you punch, force coming towards me, I continue pull you to that direction and add a little push downwards. Minimum force (stamina needed) but for attacker, he wasted a lot. And is more vulnerable as the recovers his centre of gravity back. You really have to learn to understand, if you don't, even 1 Karate Junior can beat the crap out of you.

UP review

Went to the movie screening last night. Quite happy finally able to see something funny, wanted to watch Ice Age soon after its release, but Elmo kept finding excuses to avoid it, now no more excuse. I have always enjoyed watching cartoon stuff, even now, I still do, and I am a fan of Anime too, favourites being Slam Dunk and Samurai X! I loved Madagascar, but I still feel the 1st one was better or maybe the second one didn't perform up to my expectation! As for this time, UP didn't really presented itself UP to my expectation. Don't get me wrong though, but I was hoping for a little more, maybe its just me being greedy huh..

K, on to the review part eh.
Take a look at him, but he isn't always like that, I mean white hair (Uncle Long), but he had his younger days too. During which he got married and later found out his wife couldn't have babies or something which somehow lead them to remembering their childhood promise with cross heart, X. The place they wanted to go was Paradise Falls, a place where their childhood hero went in order to clear his name. They had a fancy dressing for it too, like Superman with the red undies on the outside, they had goggles and hat.

Now here is his younger time, I like the mailbox part along, when he accidentally prints his palm on it, instead of getting scold at, she thought up a better way, a better solution instead of scolding, comforting him by prints her palm on the mail box as well, so instead of a pretty and normal mailbox they end up with a pretty and unique mailbox.

**some of you should learn this, be it guy or girl

***reminder to myself too, need to do this! (the no blame game part)

Well, lets keep this spoiler a spoiler, and I'll just skip to here, if you remember the trailer, this boy was knocking on the door and asking if he could assist the elderly. Well that scene and this scene here was 2different occasions, see the movie to understand.

A really funny part that really got me was this GPS scene, Russel said that they are in South America while our Mr Grumpy didn't believe him and assume they were still in the vicinity of the city. Skipping the nitty gritty, Russel accidentally threw the GPS out! You gotta watch it to enjoy it!

Now here they are after a bumpy ride, Paradise Falls. Notice the piece of paper he is holding, it was torn off by his wife when she was a kid, torn out of a book in the Library.

They made friends along they way, or should I say Russel made friends along the way while our Mr Grumpy were trying to rid them away.

Lets just say this was also a part where I enjoyed.

Sit!
Hand!
Talk!

Thats all, either you go see trailer or go see the movie!

This is the childhood hero that I mentioned earlier, but after this scene they turn into mortal enemies. Curious why, well, go watch then know! But I like the way the dogs steal food from Russel

This was the beginning and the end, and also the beginning for our Russel. Kind of like the ending, quite heart warming.

In all, if I were to rate this movie, I might just give it 3.0-3.5 out of 5.0...

Well I could not have seen this and could not have went to Pavillion KL (1st time went there) without the help of Nuffnang.

Thanks alot Nuffnang

OMGOMG!!! JTP Supercar Ride in SIC!!!

Here is what the winner will experience: 2 full laps at Sepang International
Circuit in the JTP Super Car with Mika Häkkinen in the driver’s seat in an
exclusive invite-only event on 13 September 2009 whereby he/she will get to
mingle and dine with Mika Häkkinen, local celebrities, and the city’s
socialites. Oh, and the winner gets to bring along a friend and both of them
will be chauffeured to SIC!

I remember writing about my dream not too long ago for the UP movie ticket in Timothy Tiah's blog, you can find my blog post at dream, how have I longed for getting a feel of those G's. Now I might be able to finally realising a lifelong dream. Just in case you are wondering, the amount of G's to be felt is 3.5G. Thats even more than F1, and what Maxis 3G is offering. Hehe.

For those who knows me surely knows that I love basketball and autos, you can read some of my post: cars, Japan GT, and my favourite vehicle Nissan GT-R35!

The only time that I went to SIC was when my friend had free tickets from TOC, he is a student there, its the free tickets to the Malaysian A1 GP, omg, we were lucky to have been able to sit near the starting line, and was in clear view of the track opposite and the final corners where most of the overtaking manuvers were done in turn 1 and the final corners, lucky us! And did I mention that the moment they rev, the moment they were released, omg! The engine sound, the rev, its like I'm in my own world, don't want it to end. But hey, thats life. After the A1, we vowed to make a comeback for F1, it will be so so much more awesome, period!

But now, I might have the chance of a lifetime, fullfilling my dream and enjoyin myself with Mika. But hey, guys and girls, ladies and gentlemen, please log into http://www.blackcircuit.com.my/ to view more, but the official release of the site will be on 18th August 2009, so don't forget, don't register on that day though, as I will be doing it, I don't want bottleneck to happen! Hehe, just kidding, come and join in the fun ya all. And you can also join in on the event at Sunway Pyramid on 13th September 2009!! There will be a live demo run of the JTP Super Car yo! So come come come, or should I say lets go go go, see you there!!

Johnnie Walker’s Global Responsible Drinking Ambasaddor Mika Häkkinen! The
two-time Formula One World Champion is coming to Malaysia to demonstrate the
importance of designated drivers. With the tremendous amount of power and
responsibility that comes with being a designated driver, Mika wants to take
this opportunity to create more awareness about responsible driving - never to
drink and drive. He will be officiating the launch of the Join the Pact campaign
on 13th September 2009 at Sunway Pyramid plus doing a live demo run of the JTP
Super Car.

To know more you can look at Nuffnang.

And to all you drinkers out there, don't drink and drive, and don't give me the bullsh** you are the drink then drive type. In a nutshell, no alcohol if you wanna drive, if you wanna drink, get a driver, get a cab, get a friend who is not drunk!! I've lost a cousin who was not 100% drunk, he was consuming lesser than what he can because he gotta drive, he was still sane, but tragedy still occurs!

So remember,

Don't drink AND drive

Don't drink THEN drive

If you want, drive THEN drink, then DON'T drive. OK!!

Going UP

Finally able to watch something which I could enjoy, whats better to watch a funny movie by Disney Pixar's UP with your beloved other half, watching it before everyone else of course, going for the preview tomorrow, all thanks to Nuffnang.

Though been through quite a little during this recent weekend, but I am lucky to have a movie to cheer me and Elmo up. And we can finally meet Timothy Tiah, wonder how will he look like in person? The person who just won an award for creative entrepreneurship, while Elmo is studying Bachelors of Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship in MMU, me too in MMU, but different major though.

But end of the day, what we do might inter-relate among one another, if she choose to go for media innovation, it will have something to do with advertising, while I am doing Marketing, so you do the math.

Squeezy!!

Finally thought of the best name for our new pet, 'Squeezy'. I will get a pic of Squeezy up ASAP. Well, I think you can guess why we named it Squeezy, it likes to squeeze around, and it loves the tunnelssss, but I think Squeezy has fallen for Wheely now, keeps going there instead of the tunnel. Hehe
